Spent New Year's at a hotel in a key location. Two great offers included breakfast and easy access to the city. The best part? The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The rooms were quite outdated and in need of refurbishment. The heating system was a bit outdated, leaving us cold and uncomfortable during the night.

It should be noted that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, which can be a bit uncomfortable on hot days.

It was very near to the Lugano Lake / City. Very near to a Funicular San Salvatore just 1min walk. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel was in a great location, just a few blocks from the lake and surrounded by shops and restaurants. the room was small, but very cozy and clean. the staff was friendly and helpful, and even gave us a map with some tips on where to go in the area. Best aspects: the best part about staying at this hotel was the price - it was very affordable for a weekend in such a prime location. the room had a small balcony which offered beautiful views of the area.

There were a few downsides to the hotel. the walls were thin, so we could hear noise from other guests in the hallways.

This place was the worst hotel I have stayed in in over 30 years of travel in Europe. It is dirty, above all, with bed bugs and so on, and little effort is made. We were so uncomfortable we left a day early.

Looks fine. Certainly old and not luxurious at all, but didn't have any issues with the bathroom that other reviewers mentioned.

Bedbugs. Maybe just one unlucky room, but I came home with bites all over. In lesser issues, breakfast was mediocre, and there was no internet

Good position just next to the cable car to San Salvatore and next to the lake. Cheap compared to other hotels.

The hotel is quite old a jump back in the seventies. They should renew it. Breakfast is very poor.

Clean room. Good location. Two large swimming pools. Not too bad for one of the cheapest hotels in lugano

Ok for 1-2 nights but no air conditionning, minimal breakfast, noise from hall, very old fashion hotel.
